Hip Hop

Stevo Jones, Native of Augusta Georgia, was trained mainly in Cecchetti and Russian ballet techniques by his professional dancing father for the first 15+ years of his life.  Amongst his earlier studies in ballet, Stevo was also well versed in modern, jazz and contemporary.   Serving his first two years as a professional ballet dancer Stevo then turned to hip hop, a more suitable fit that paralleled his personality and interest.

Stevo moved to Atlanta in 2003 and in less than a year began a strong professional dance career that would go on to include artist such as Letoya Luckett, Dierks Bentley, Lloyd, Ginuwine, Ashlee Simpson, Cherish, Sean Garrett, and Coca Cola as well as movies such as Footloose and Step Up 3D.  In his later years in Atlanta Stevo became a heavy hitter as an elite artist development leader working as the resident development and movement coach for Zone 4 Entertainment and Crown World Entertainment, most notably known as the developer and stage choreographer for Jacob Latimore since his early years at the age of 10.  Aside from his development ventures Stevo collected choreography credits with Lloyd, Cherish, GA lottery and American Reunion to name a few.

After relocating to Los Angeles in 2011 and jumping back into dance full steam Stevo got right to work dancing for Kelly Rowland, Mark Ballas and a now grown up Jacob Latimore as well as booking his first 3 out of 4 auditions: Becky G and Lindsey Stirling followed by earning the opportunity to work his acting muscle as the lead antagonist Jasper Tarik in Lionsgate’s franchise film Step Up All In.  Stevo can also be found touring the U.S. and Europe reaching out to students and fans spreading his knowledge of training for the entertainment industry.  Stevo remains a sponge and student of dance and has a incredible energy and love for this art form he considers an inheritance.
