Tasha
Hamilton is a professional dancer, teacher
and choreographer from Colorado. She has lived Los Angeles since 2006.
Tasha is trained in Ballet, Modern,
Contemporary, Jazz, Gaga and Hip Hop. She has been a teacher at several
Southern California dance school for many years. After being a substitute
teacher at EDGEPAC, in 2019 Tasha became a faculty member teaching in the
adult and teen divisions. Tasha has also taught at local events and programs
and as well as master classes in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, South America and
Canada. In addition to her many years of teaching, having started at the
early age of 11, Tasha also has a wealth of
industry experience appearing as a dancer in the movie “Dance Flick”
choreographed by Dave Scott, a PBS commercial called “School Bus”, “Crazy”,
a music video choreographed by Brian Friedman and as a judge on “Dance Moms”
Season 6. She also has been a member of a few small dance companies in
Colorado and San Francisco. Tasha has
choreographed numerous award-winning dance routines and prepared several
dancers for SYTYCD, Juilliard, Dancing With the Stars (Juniors) and many
other auditions. Tasha is extremely
passionate about teaching and loves to help unlock potential in every
dancer, helping them grow and enjoy movement in a “safe” and inspiring
environment.
