AUDITION & REHEARSAL
Dance agencies, casting directors and artists scout EDGE regularly for new new talent. Auditions and rehearsals for tours, television shows, commercials, videos, industrials and cruise ships have been held at EDGE for clients including Cher, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Tommy (the musical), Joseph and His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Princess Cruises, Mafia (Touchstone Pictures), Heart of Love (Beverly Hills Playhouse), Kristine W (Carleen Terrano Agency), Keenan Ivory Wayans Show, Sputnik Films and Propaganda Films.

PERFORMANCE
Our much anticipated annual showcase is a cross section of Los Angeles dance and choreography. Tied together in an original way, the eclectic collection of dance features leading Los Angeles choreographers including the EDGE teachers and special guest artists. Past productions have included dances by Tina Landon, Adam Shankman, Keith Young, Dorian Sanchez and Bubba Carr. The 50-plus performers are professional dancers, many of whom are EDGE alumni and twenty who are graduating from the EDGE scholarship program. For both the choreographers and dancers the showcase gives them the chance to stretch out.

The 2 hour performance runs for two weeks in July or in the beginning of August and will play to sold out houses. The dance community, patrons, friends and families of the performers will attend the shows and all of the dance agencies will scout the performances for new talent. It's one part concert, one part showcase, one part graduation and a whole lot of dancing.

EDGE and the EDGE scholarship's have performed on or for the Woman’s Foreign Press Association's, Golden Apple Awards with Donald O’Connor, Perfect Strangers, Hard Copy, commercials for the the 1997 CBS line-up and Grammy awards, Six Flags Magic Mountain, Fame L.A. (pilot), industrials for Nokia and Arrow Computers and the half-time show for the Sparks, WNBA. Other works include a 15 minute tribute to MGM movie musicals that was commissioned by MGM for the NCA Salute in their honor that was attended by many MGM stars and the Hollywood elite.
