Josie is a native of Los Angeles and former
professional dancer with the Joffrey Ballet, Zurich Ballet and Oregon Ballet
Theatre. Her choreographic career began with the Zurich Opera and moved onto
several freelance projects throughout Europe. Upon her return to Los Angeles
she integrated this vast background into the commercial world. Choreographic
credits include: “Underground Comedy” feature film, “Yahoo” national
commercial, Torchwood TV Show BBC, UTV logo identity, A&E drama “The
Cleaner”, Walt Disney’s feature of “Tinker Bell”, MGM movie premiere Bullet
Proof Monk, CBS sitcom “That’s Life”, Red Bull Formula One Industrial,
“Pilgrim” Rock Opera, Asia Entertainment, LA Music Awards, Paul Mitchell
Industrial, Queen Mary Live, Focus Fish Flying Circus, Project Angel Food,

Class description:
Ballet with a contemporary flare! Josie has a
holistic approach to ballet technique rooted in deep understanding of proper
body alignment. Her method of teaching creates a strong and powerful center,
learning to initiate movement from the core. Sculpting, refining, and
ultimately finding freedom within the classical discipline is the
journey…Josie’s classes are fun, creative and challenging, set to
alternative music.
