Salsa

Desi received his first salsa lesson from his mother.  Since then, he has traveled around the world performing, teaching, competing and training in all areas of dance. After living in NYC, he moved to LA where he is a founding member of the Salsa Crew, Angeleno Funk!

Desi’s classes bring salsa into the present, combining traditional salsa with hip hop, jazz and Afro-Cuban. He will take you through salsa shines (footwork without a partner) and turn patterns, and will teach the guys to lead and the girls to follow. He will have you at the club tearing up the dance floor in no time.  Bringing a partner is NOT necessary.
