CHELSEA FIELD

Jazz

Chelsea started her dance career as a lead dancer in many live shows across the states. She continued dancing in commercials and in television with such shows as the Academy Awards, TV Specials and Solid Gold. After 10 years as a professional dancer she successfully transitioned into acting, starring in 20 feature films such as "Last Boy Scout", "Andre", "Harley Davidson & The Marlboro Man", and "Commando". She starred in numerous television series, miniseries, and TV movies including: "Memphis Beat", "NCIS", "Cold Case", "Indictment: The McMartin Trial", "Capital News", and "thirtysomething". She took 15 years off from her film and television career to raise 4 children (but continued to teach dance during that time). She loves musical theater, choreographing musicals twice a year for The Hamilton Music Academy, and has starred in many musical productions such as "Cabaret", "Chorus Line", "I Do, I Do", and "Guys and Dolls" at the Hollywood Bowl. "One of my great passions in life is teaching. I emphasize strong technique combined with artistic expression and the love of movement. My intention is for every student to leave with the feeling of success and joyful accomplishment."
