Randall is a Founder, Principal, CEO
and General Manager of L.A. DanceForce Inc.
(1992-present), the parent corporation of EDGE and the LADF Workshop
and Competition. From 1989-2010 he was the Executive Director of the LADF Workshop and
Competition, which set many records including being the
only company to hold events in four countries. Randall is a
Director at EDGE (1992-present) and a Founder and Director of the
Professional Program (1988-present). He is also a
Founder and CEO of the non-profit dance advocacy corporation The
Dance Fund (2005-present).
Randall began teaching in Los Angeles
in 1981 instructing intermediate through professional levels of jazz
and turns technique at studios including Dupree Dance Academy
(1983-1987), L.A. Dance Academy (1987-1992) and EDGE
(1992-present). Since 2005 he has instructed exclusively for the
Professional Training Program. On tour Randall has taught for
Dupree Dance Expo (1985-1986) and with the LADF events (1989-2003).
He has also instructed master classes and adjudicated in the U.S.,
Canada and New Zealand.
Randall has worked in front and
behind the cameras as a performer, choreographer and assistant
choreographer. He was a principal performer with Michael Jackson
for the Bad and Dangerous world tours appearing in the
acclaimed HBO performance from Bucharest, the XXVII Super Bowl,
American Music Awards, Grammy Awards, Soul Train
Awards and many other live and televised shows around the
globe. From 1985 to 1987, Randall was the assistant choreographer
for the original television series Fame, as well as dancing
on the show and playing the recurring role of Vince. Other
television appearances include Mama's Family, Faerie Tale
Theatre, It's Gary Shandling's Show, Look Of The Year,
You Write The Songs and Double Platinum. He can be
seen in classic music videos including Paula Abdul (Cold Hearted
Snake), Rod Stewart (Young Turks), Toto (Roseanna),
Rodney Dangerfield (Rapping Rodney) and Michael Damian (Cover
of Love). Randall’s commercial credits include, 7-UP, Pepsi,
Butterfinger, Orange-Ade, Continental Edison, Nissan and Target. He
has appeared in the motion pictures Stayin' Alive, Back to
the Future, Girls Just Want To Have Fun and Electric
Boogaloo.
Among his choreography credits is an episode of the original
television series Fame (7th season), a television special for
the Ford Modeling Agency’s Super Model Of The World, the
largest and most prestigious international modeling competition, the
motion picture Teen Wolf Too with Jason Bateman, a Three
Musketeers commercial, a Playboy Video promotion, the Golden
Apple Awards for the Foreign Press Association, and the National
Council on Aging (NCOA) tribute and honors to MGM Movie Musicals.
